About the story
What you’re in for
I dated his son. He’s twice my age. We shouldn’t even be friends, let alone lovers.
My life is officially a mess. I’m barely over my breakup with Milo, and now I’m catching feelings for the one guy I absolutely shouldn’t.
His dad.
Marshall is fifty, cautious, and thinks he’s way too old for me. He sees the twenty-year age gap and panics. I see a guy with kind blue eyes and a soft dad bod I’m dying to hold. I’m a natural flirt, but Marshall puts up walls faster than I can tear them down. He thinks our history with his son makes this impossible.
Then trouble walks into my bar. Three terrified women need help hiding from a violent pimp, and Marshall steps up. He takes them into his home. He puts himself in the line of fire.
He might look soft, but he’s tough as nails when it counts. Now I just need to survive the night so I can prove we’re worth the risk.
